James
Founder of Willow and Water
Holistic Therapy Specialist
With nearly 30 years of experience in complementary therapies, James Morris is a dedicated practitioner, researcher, and advocate for holistic well-being. His journey began at 17 when he discovered the transformative power of essential oils, massage, and meditation—a passion that has guided his lifelong study and practice.
A skilled therapist with advanced training in Swedish/holistic, sports, remedial, clinical, and pregnancy massage, James combines hands-on expertise with a deep understanding of sports science, mobility, and connective tissue disorders. His work extends to cosmetic science and dermatology, focusing on skin repair and integrative wellness.
In 2016, he founded Willow and Water, driven by a commitment to evidence-based complementary therapies that bridge traditional and modern medicine. His contributions earned him a prestigious Fellowship at the Royal Society of Medicine (2018), recognising his research and advocacy in the field.
James holds a BSc (Hons) and multiple accreditations, including memberships with the Federation of Holistic Therapists, ITEC, International Institute for Complementary Therapists, and leading aromatherapy associations. His mission is simple: to advance therapies that deliver real, measurable benefits—backed by science, rooted in compassion, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
Misha
For over 35 years, Misha has dedicated her life to helping people overcome disease, eliminate pain, reclaim their mobility and optimal health. She believes quality of life far outweighs length of life. Her unique holistic approach blends hands-on therapy with science-backed nutrition. This came about by combining a vast array of her training plus working alongside specialists in their fields, copious amounts of independent research, clinical study & experience.
Her strong background in extreme sports started very young as a ballerina for 6 years, which corrected a musculoskeletal imbalance in her legs. She also played competitive Netball, trained as a Lifeguard, and gained her first aid certificates. As a Rhythmic Gymnast & a member of the Tumbling Squad, she was employed to train children in gymnastic fitness conditioning. Misha then learned the art of self-defence (Taekwondo) and was certified in Human Biology, giving her a deep foundational understanding of the body at a cellular level. Misha successfully developed a unique Fitness Program, which was approved & endorsed by the Universal College of Learning, who stated "it's better than Pilates".
"As the eldest daughter and only current athlete in my family, I started my healing journey at just 10 years old, massaging my mother's swollen feet and legs regularly after her long day's work standing in the dairy she owned. Also at 10, I was submerged into the professional world of sports, where my father was my coach for five years. He had qualified for the Olympics aged 18 and was one of the reasons I competed and placed 2nd (despite a bad crash) in the Secondary School National championships as a road cyclist.
During this time, I was thrust into intensive sports training, which included nutrition and sports massage. By the age of 15, I qualified for the Junior Women's World Championships. Those early experiences taught me the profound power of combining movement, massage and nutrition, igniting my lifelong mission to use natural remedies for healing and regeneration.
"Being hypermobile & double-jointed led to frequent injuries. On top of that, in my early twenties I suffered food-related digestive issues and skin conditions, and these challenges gave me a thirst for finding natural solutions for myself, then others - I learned firsthand what the body needs to recover from illnesses or trauma, whether from sports accidents, general injuries or daily stresses".
