The Story of Willow and Water
My name is James Morris and I run Willow and Water. I have been involved in complementary therapies for almost thirty years. At the age of 17 (1989) I discovered the wonderful world of essential oils, massage and meditation and have been expanding my skills ever since.
I have practiced, trained and studied Swedish/holistic, sports, remedial, clinical and pregnancy massage. I also studied sports science, specifically the effects of mobility and stability on overall fitness and the effects of hypermobility and other connective tissue disorders on health and well-being. My interests also led me to Cosmetic Science and Dermatology with a view to the repair of damaged skin.
I started my own business in complementary therapies in 2016. In 2018 I was honoured to be accepted into the Royal Society of Medicine due to my work and research over the years into complementary therapies.
I also studied Sharon Wheeler’s Scarwork and have been expounding its virtues to all who’ll listen ever since.
Many forms of complementary therapy have real and impactful consequences and have withstood scrutiny by the medical and scientific communities. I hope to be able to continue to carry on my research and work for many years to come.
